Earth element
A regal king of the forest, this lion is composed of the organic material of its habitat. It roams its forest collecting things to absorb into its muddy body. It finds stumps and rocks and other things (even other animals) to help make itself looker bigger and even more imposing. The berries which naturally grow from his mane are as sweet as honey and the single golden apple that grows from the tip of his tail is believed to grant immortality to anyone who eats it.

Materials: Sculpey polymer clay, wood, copper, moss and acrylic paint.

Fascinating creation!

The petal face reminds me of one of the creatures from the fantastic 1980's film The Thing....! That is meant as a compliment!
